"He isn’t in the right position though as he hasn’t seen it.
Comes from the top of PGMOL being too static and too straight
outside the penalty area. Handball is clear but it ink also a
       clear pen in first half"
You can only see the handball from behind the goal or sideways
on. There is no way a referee will go that deep into the box at
corners so I stand by what I said.

I know I'm not disagreeing with you. For me, its a PGMOL
       coaching issue

So you think PGMOL should coach their referees to stand on the
goal line at corners and free kicks? If they do that then there
will just be a handball somewhere else in the penalty area that
he can't see, and there will also be a fast breakaway that the
referee is miles away from because he has got caught up in
       traffic.
Referees don't have x-ray vision, and unfortunately there will
be occasions that something happens when all of the officials
are blocked off. That is one of the primary reasons why VAR was
       brought in.

No but how about varying positions to get the full range of view
rather than standing still in the same position each time

Those days are long gone. Referees at the top level are trained
now to follow a well defined line so that they are in the best
position to pick up on the most important issues. But as others
have said, that does mean that there will be occasions when
incidents are missed by the referee, ARs and not forgetting the
4O, and without VAR, this will always happen from time to time.

Leeds fans weren’t moaning when Bamford scored with his arm! So
far as I’m concerned it’s evened itself out!

Yeah, because that evens out the 6 letters Leeds have already
had from the PGMOL apologising for penalties not given and
opposition red cards not given. 🙄 Regardless of the fact
there were two, not just one handball/ penalty decisions missed
       on Tues night.

Which games do the 6 letters refer to if you don’t mind me
asking? I can think of a couple of times Leeds have been hard
done by this season but struggling to think of 6. Certainly not
6 that would warrant a letter of apology.
I assume the Sunderland doesn’t account for one of these 6 yet
(maybe making it 7 in total)! And I’ll also assume they didn’t
get a letter of apology in relation to the Bamford handball
       mentioned above!

You'd have to ask Leeds United.

So how do you know it’s 6 then? Sure other clubs have had
letters too not just poor old Leeds!
