Completely agree, the big point for me is that the striker is
deliberately standing there to put the keeper off, it isn't like
he got 'caught up there by accident'.
To add: the questions 'is VAR intervening to disallow goals like
this is really good for the game?' and 'was the final decision
correct?' lead to different answers, imo. Calls like this aren't
especially new, either, there was one early on in the Manchester
CL final of 2003 which was judged as correct by UEFA at the
time.
I can appreciate frustrations but many of the Wolves public
statements after the game have not been made in good faith.

They deserve one. Absolutely scandalous decision, as quoted per
Gary Oniell. Shambolic. Robinson and Harrington should be
subjected to at least 1 week off completely. It shows a complete
lack of understanding of football all around. Moyes says its
dreadful, ONiell says its woeful, Fabianski says its wrong.
Therefore it's a horrific call.

That's not how it works though, is it? Standing in front of a
keeper in an offside position like that has for as long as I can
remember nearly always been called offside, which it also is by
the letter of the law. I can't even phantom Howard Webb giving
them anything close to an apology for this one. I do absolutely
understand that Wolves are frustated, I would likely also be if
I was in their situation, but we have to look at what the rule
says and how it's been applied constantly for years, and
therefore offside is absolutely the correct call in this
situation

The fact that Harrington has been appointed on Saturday to
Bournemouth v Man Utd suggests that he has the full support of
Webb for the decisions on Saturday.

Disallowing Wolves' late goal against West Ham was correct, the
KMI Panel has ruled. Gary O'Neil has been charged with
misconduct by the F.A.

Harrington dominated the PGMOL Premier League clips this week
across different fixtures but it was made clear that the line of
sight incident is a routine offside and wasn't presented as
remotely controversial.

Having been charged he is still coming out with utter rubbish
like "It's still deemed by the officials to be correct which
concerns me“
Seriously!! He should be more concerned about his complete lack
of knowledge and understanding of the LOTG.
I’d suggest a punishment of a touch line ban until he has passed
a LOTG test.
