Nor Nigel Llong. He did some of a recent Essex 2nd XI game so
he’s around, but not in the CC, perhaps surprisingly.

I notice Llong was out in the seconds again this week but no
sign of Mallender as yet. I remember the late Jeremy Lloyds
doing a few second team games the year after his retirement, not
that i am saying Llong and Mallender have retired.

affected.
