Having Marriner as his coach is one hell of a tutor for him!
Marriner was unlucky not to reach the peak of UEFA’s pecking
order but with the competition at the time it was bloody hard!
Brooks however, should easily achieve this.

Very well, very normal and unassuming, yet with a kind enough
way. Love the way he personifies calmness on the pitch, has a
good rapport with players as a result I feel.
But it has been a really poor week for him… Chelsea’s penalty
award against Burnley last week was beyond belief how he didn’t
recommend an immediate review or overturn full stop.
Then his handling of West Ham Tottenham wasn’t the best, the
blatant barge on Maddison edge of the area was bizarre.
Brooks must learn from these 2 games and improve to show the
consistency of some of his other performances this season.
