No surprise with Taylor at Old Trafford and Oliver at Everton.
Allison for us in a mid table virtual dead rubber, and a pretty
decent match for Robinson at Leeds.

So that justifies a novice/rookie/second-rate/whatever ref? Both
teams MIGHT have European hopes and each higher finishing place
is still worth £2M+ isn't it?
Personally, 'downgrading a match' as a 'less important fixture'
to justify a novice/triallist ref annoys me as much as trying to
justify a Cup defeat on 'concentrating on the league'. It's
like saying I'm only going to pay for my season ticket for
matches I deem to be more important?

On that logic no referee would ever get a game at a higher
level. 3 points is 3 points whether gained on match day 1 or
match day 32 so a new SG1 referee can influence the league table
at whatever stage in the season they are given a game.
