I came across this piece with Phil talking about his Parkinsons
diagnosis and thought I'd share.

It is courageous of Phil Dowd to be so open about his diagnosis;
I hope his candour will encourage others who have this awful
condition. I wish him all the best and that he may continue to
be involved in the sport he so clearly loves.
Interesting that he is Coach to Sunny Singh Gill; I can't think
of two referees whose on field demeanour are more polar
opposites.

Was never a fan of Dowd, but great that he has shared this
story. At least an ex-PL ref who is trying to support referees
positively and Webb in increasing standards, rather than sniping
from the side lines!
