Good to see Graham Scott get an outing, maybe Missy BMB had a
word somewhere?
For once (please all make a note of this), can't complain about
Fulham's appointments, the usually dependable Robinson at
Bramhall Lane and Oliver at Forest. Oliver is a busy man, VAR in
London at the weekend, then Nottingham on Tuesday and back to
London on Wednesday?
Very surprised to see Tierney back so soon and on a match that
means a lot in the West Midlands.
I raised an eyebrow to see Harrington with a north-east team as
had assumed (wrongly) he would be precluded.
Two good appointments for Gillett, three if you count the VAR.
Don't agree he struggles as a VAR, I just think he's wasted
there as he's a very good referee and has a good rapport/style
of management with players. Clearly he'll be disappointed to
have 3 appointments yet miss out on Fulham!
Assume Josh Smith is injured judging by his disappearance for a
while

Happy with both of our appointments - how lovely to see Graham
Scott get a PL middle. In my view he has been very poorly
treated. Always been a steady ref in our games previously so
pleased his eventual middle is with us.

For the umpteenth time, Altrincham and Manchester are two
completely separate places.

Not to us 'cockneys/people from daan saaf' maybe? It is
described as a town in Trafford, Greater Manchester, so whilst I
totally accept your point, I can see why people continue to make
these associations.

The wheel chair wont be blocking the car parking space then i
assume,
Hopefully the spray gun wont be required either.
Agree with the way he has been treated.

As has been said he has absolutely zero connection to Manchester
City Football Club. He's a very experienced international
referee who's integrity cannot be questioned, despite some very
poor performances which unfortunately have favoured Man City in
the past. However, Gillett on VAR is a Liverpool fan, that is a
legitimate question to ask as to why he has this game.

It is still very tedious when you get these ridiculous comments
every single week, on a forum for referees, especially given
that the postcode rule was abolished at least 8 years ago. The
sort of boring comments you expect off of fans not people who
are supposed to be referees.

If Michael Oliver moved to Stockport would that preclude him
from Manchester games in your opinion? Because that is basically
what you are saying about Anthony Taylor. He is not a fan of,
has not played for, nor been involved off the field at City or
United
Now please MOVE ON (politely screamed)
