Cheers Rhys
5 out of 8 on Champons Cup games had (or should have had) 6N
games
Interesting to see Trainini and Murphy get games where their
more illustrious/senior colleagues are in Challenge Cup. Adamson
given another chance.
Strong line up in Challenge Cup with Raynsl. Brace, Ridley and
Piardi all having had 6N games. Pleased to see Evans and
Grove-White there along with Busby and Woodthorpe
Only big omission (literally) is Amushekeli (hopefully pre
planned and not injured)

I did think that Ms Davidson was looking rather more butch than
I recalled!

Have dipped in and out of all the Chsmpions Cup games, focusing
in the 3 Musketeers as the race to become France's #1 begins
Pierre Brousset probably performed the best, using his
experience. I did not agree with all his decisions in Dublin but
he was firm and consistent.
The game never lived up to the hype with the home team
dominating. Brousset was good in open play, improved at the
breakdown when he relaxed and let game breathe. Scrum time was
soporific and horrendous- generally this has to improve but
definitely an area PB needs help
Tual Tranini I have rated as he came through; Friday night,
however, he looked like a rabbit in the headlights and the game
went on inspire of him. Decisions seemed to take ages, were
given tentatively and considering he has refereed the Top 14
final I thought he looked "green" and easily manipulated. Time
and experience will be his friends
Luc Ramos was OK at Sandy Park, the game although tight was
never tetchy or overly confrontational. He needs to decide where
the gate is as his management of breakdowns was random at best.
He has risen quite quickly and I think the players were aware of
his naivety; as with TT experience and time will help Ramos
I still think Trainini is the more natural referee and will rise
to be France's number 1
In other games Adamson proved that when 2 reams get on and play,
what a good referee he can be, was v good today
Not yet watched any of the 3 English lads, who after today's
results are probably fighting for 1 QF place.
