How was it any different to last week Ederson winning the ball
but his follow through then taking out Garnacho?

Blade obviously watched a completely different game to me. That
or one of us tries to blame our team's shortcomings on the ref
and the other one doesn't - no prizes for guessing which is
which...
Penalty was the correct call - Solanke slipping and missing it
was not the highlight of the game!! There were 3 times Solanke
went down looking for a penalty after the correct one that he
fluffed and each one was rightly waved away. None of them even
came close to being a penalty. Can't complain with any of the
yellow cards. My only frustration was it took forever and a day
to book the Sheffield Utd goalie for time wasting and within 30
seconds of getting the YC he was back to time wasting again and
carried on doing so, with no further sanction. My view is he
should have had YYR for it.
He played a couple of sublime advantages for both teams. I
thought he was fair and consistent overall. Correct call to
disallow Solanke's goal - like Jim I didn't celebrate it. Just
as an aside it initially came up on the scoreboard the VAR check
was for an offside, now whether that's down to our media team
putting up the wrong graphic or what the check was actually for
not being communicated properly I have no idea but it's not
helpful!
The only reason Sheffield Utd didn't hold onto their 2-0 lead
was because they failed to pick Dango up until after he had
headed the ball into the back of the net and the marking on Unal
was pretty woeful as well. Nothing to do with team ref but all
to do with poor defending, same reason AFCB had gone 2-0 down.
Keeper at fault for both goals.
Oh and he wore blue!

I hear of recent that all yellow shirts belonging to match
officials are confiscated when passing the border into
darsetshire!!
