A busy couple of days for Andrew Kitchen. 4O at Middlesbrough on
Wednesday, referee in the WSL cup on Thursday, and referee for
Blackburn v Plymouth on Saturday!

A few movers (as a result of the appointment for Stockport vs
Salford I think) sees Andrew Humphries, making his League Two
debut next week, being 4O for Stuart Attwell in an important
Championship game at St Mary’s this weekend. Interesting pairing
of an experienced FIFA official and a referee in his first
National League season. Should be a great learning opportunity
for him with some senior officials.

Perhaps he will learn not to ignore blatant penalties for
visiting teams as he did last Saturday.

He wore black. For your first game you would probably be pleased
that it was one of the most one sided games I have seen with
absolutely no contentious issues.
Only 1 card to a Norwich player - justified after 73 minutes. I
thought he was going to get through the game with none. If being
slightly picky should/could have booked at least one Rotherham
player but as they were 5 down I think he was trying to "manage"
the game.
Overall a decent performance and would prefer him to some of the
regulars we normally get!
One general query, can you book a goalkeeper for timewasting
when they are 5 down. [emoji1]

Also believe it was Sam Lewis running the line at St Andrew’s
last night rather than James Wilson.
