Absolutely shocking and someone has to be held accountable.

Wasn't Casemiro sent off in a PL game for putting his hands
round someone's neck? Obviously Mr Kavanagh and Mr Bond took a
different view of this. The other surprise was that Fernandes
was, for him, remarkably restrained in his reaction.

       Yes, you are correct.
Casemiro was sent off by Marriner for hands around the neck of
Will Hughes in the Palace game.
That was a VAR check too that binned him.
Felipe was indeed very lucky if the precedent of the above
       incident is maintained.
As for Fernandes, I won’t put on record my honest thoughts on
his personality and his behaviour on the pitch, particularly
       towards officials.

Is it ok to grab someone by the neck or do two hands have to be
used for it to be a red card?? Casemeiro and Rodri both sent off
       for similar incidents

Casemiro didn't have his hands round the player's neck in that
incident. He was holding the player's shirt collar.

Dale Johnson's explanation on why he thinks last night's
incident was different from League Cup final -
  HTML https://twitter.com/DaleJohnsonESPN/status/1762955799918186943

(One other thing I noticed him tweeting is that MLS are
introducing a system where a player needs to leave the pitch
within 10 seconds when being subbed (with some exceptions)
otherwise the substitute cannot come on for 60 seconds and
they'll be down to 10 players.)

I am surprised at the criticism here of the offside
determination. It was clear to me in real time why it was given
and Dale's explanation rings true. Many on social media are
questioning the decision but frankly it is why referees are
getting a hard time through people not understand the LOGs,
their interpretation and also a desire to sound off for the sake
       of it.
Interesting experiment in MLS. No doubt exceptions will become
the norm and nothing will change!

So we are saying it’s more like RB Leipzig’s disallowed goal V
       Real Madrid
