By missing 3 cautions in the first half there’s been a material
impact on the game.
Player on a yellow tend to play differently.
(Edited final sentence not constructive)

I agree, however there are tonnes I've seen this season that
I've thought similar and goals have been given. I was
astonished that was disallowed based on what I've seen
elsewhere. Was still walking back from Fir Park at the start
but since I came in Kavanagh has been fine.

I agree, however there are tonnes I've seen this season that
I've thought similar and goals have been given. I was
astonished that was disallowed based on what I've seen
elsewhere. Was still walking back from Fir Park at the start
but since I came in Kavanagh has been fine.

I’ve only just got in and not seen anything aside from the
second half of extra time so I can’t comment yet.
However, I must say reading some of the posts on here, they are
not good one iota.
If we are being critical of a performance, we really should be
conveying our thoughts in a constructive and disciplined manner.
I understand some emotions can be high, however if that’s the
view you want to express, there are more adequate forums to vent
your spleen on, rather than this particular forum, which should
be held in the highest regard and applomb.

Without thinking about it there was one in St Mirren v Dundee
and there was one in Atletico Madrid v Feyenoord where someone
got much more advantage from being offside than that.

Blocks often do happen at corners, but not by a player that has
brought attention upon himself by standing well offside. Was he
in an offside position? Yes, clearly. Did he interfere with an
opponent? Yes, he clearly blocked off Colwill who was moving
into a position where the ball dropped. It is a clear offside
and there's an argument to say it should have been given without
VAR needing to get involved. It wouldn't be enough for a foul
to be given, but offside is more factual.

Totally agreed with to disallow the Liverpool goal, personally
it's a foul by Endo, but in any case he was offside with no
intention to play the ball, only to interfere with the defender.
At a couple of stages it look like control had been lost and the
awarding of yellow cards was poor, somewhat random and seemed to
massively favour Chelsea, especially in the first half. I cannot
believe Caicedo didn't see (at least) yellow for the foul that
ended Gravenbach's involvement. Robertson committed (IMO) two
cynical fouls in one move in the second half and didn't see
yellow for either (or both).
But what annoys me the most (again) is that Liverpool wasted
well over a minute of added time at the end, (30 seconds to take
an offside, 30 seconds when Palmer committed a foul and further
time when Gomez kicked the ball away and was rightly booked) and
yet Kavanagh played 10 additional seconds.

Disallowed Liverpool goal is 100% correct and fully in
accordance with the current interpretation of Law11. Caicedo's
nasty foul was SFP imo but not surprised with any
non-intervention there. He should have cottened on to Chelsea's
early spoiling tactics a bit quicker but Caicedo aside, I'm
struggling to see any CLEAR cards missed by Kavanagh.
Not perfect, but I thought Chris Kavanagh's performance was
generally okay, especially taking into account the unwritten
'don't make yourself the centre of attention in a final' rule
(ie. not immediately showing early YCs to (Chelsea) players).

A yellow card offence is a yellow card offence whether it takes
place in the 1st minute or the 90th
