There have been at least 3 yellows for chelsea not given
6th minute colwell loses possession dives in with a nasty
challenge
7th minute same as above but caicedo
16th minute chilwell has possession stolen from him on the edge
of his own box so brings the opponent down who is clear

Great work on that offside goal delay the flag wait until the
end of the move then flag and getting it right when it’s that
tight

So one of the 3 clear bookings that got ignored because it’s
early has now picked up a yellow card
The first one he should have been booked for was in the 16th
minute

I think Caicedo has done more than enough to earn a yellow card.
Pretty much mandatory yellows for Chilwell and Bradley for
causing the handbags just before half time. Excellent work by
AR2 for the disallowed goal.

I know a rugby referee at semi professional level who would not
hesitate to give 2 yellows in the first 10 minutes. Did it last
week, text book yellows and there were no more for the rest of
the game. Players got the message. What is it about top flight
referees who believe in managing the game. It doesn't work,
players try it on again, the message is lost. Or is that we
don't trust thick footballers not to earn a second yellow so we
lower standards to keep 11v11?

That's a shocking call. That's a goal. It happens in every set
piece.
