Request for help
By: jad Date: February 13, 2024, 8:39 am

While looking at the site on my mobile phone, I seem
inadvertently to have clicked on the link that brings up the
full version. Unfortunately I cannot find any way of reversing
the process. Can anyone give me any advice on how to restore
the mobile-phone-friendly version of the site, without, that is,
going to the lengths of buying a a new phone (which is how I
ended up loving the problem the last time it happened).

I have no idea! Flip might know, he's the techy one.

Hi [member=280]jad[/member]
When in full site mode, if you click on the hyperlinked word
“mobile” at the very bottom, this’ll take you back to mobile
mode.
I’ve included a screenshot below to assist.

Let me know how you go and if this resolves the issue for you?

Many thanks for your helpful reply. I wouldn't say it was the
most strikingly visible link I've ever seen (especially for my
aged eyes), but I found it and it worked. Certainly cheaper
than buying a new mobile phone!

I definitely agree, it wasn't that obvious to me, either.
I've raised this with the site hosts for any future QoL
improvements that might occur. I can't promise anything though.

When posting on my mobile can put up the site emojis fine, but
they don't seem to work on my laptop. Any suggestions please?

Is that both sets of emojis Boz? The ones at the top of the
post box haven't worked for me for a very long time now but if I
click on the smiley face and open that set of emojis they work
properly. I tend to use my PC all the time because I struggle on
a mobile phone screen, even with my glasses...
