Whilst this fixture could be probably classed as a
"run-of-the-mill" appointment, it is actually quite prestigious,
as Mr Robinson will referee in front of the largest League crowd
at Anfield since Major Fred C Green (Wolverhampton) took charge
of Liverpool v Chelsea on 27th December 1949!
(Major Green's only other Liverpool match was Chelsea v
Liverpool.....on 26th December 1949!!)

Depends whose trust we are referring to. Whatever our personal
opinions of Robert Jones and John Brooks the evidence seems to
suggest that those who make the appointments are beginning to
entrust more high profile matches to Jones and Brooks and no
doubt, for these two gentlement, it's the appointers' trust
which is valued most highly.

familarise himself with his parking spot and be available in
case one of them get injured😂

thought welch might get another run out but hopefully she will
get a prem game next week instead
surprised madley is doing midweek efl duty with Attwell as I
thought they might be involved with europa league/confrence
league play-offs first legs
Coote on elf duty for a change alongside Harrington Coote
defiantly in contention for efl final
hope Harrington gets a prem game soon-same can be said for Scott
no sign of another prem outing for Allison so might get his 2nd
outing next weekend
