Yet another utterly disastrous performance from Taylor tonight.

I’m sorry but that post is entirely without merit or
quantifiable.
The two yellows for Konate were justified and I thought he
handled things well. I couldn’t see anything wrong with the
majority of the cards issued. If the players on the field want
to protest and act like children they deserve a card.
Yes, it wasn’t perfect, particularly when Nunez was fouled and
nothing was given.

That was one of Taylors best performances I've seen in a long
while. He contributed to an amazing game and correctly clamped
down towards the end. Konate rightly sent packing. Only
incorrect decision for me was the foul on Nunez not given and
then Nunez rightly booked for dissent. I feel he should've seen
red, God knows what Spanish madness he was shouting at Taylor!

I thought Taylor was good. I only tuned in for the last 30
minutes, but thought he did very well. He is probably the best
we have in this country currently.
A thing I have noticed - his whistle is always so sharp ! I find
no other PL referees have a whistle as clear, sharp and loud as
his. Anyone got any ideas as to how his is far superior
?😂

Could I ask Sheila to explain why, in her view it was such a
performance.
People are entitled to opinions. However they should be required
where the opinions are so strident to tell us what was
disastrous

Oh I must say, the foul throw being penalised was my highlight
of the game! They must do it more often!
Shows how bad my team were that I'm getting most excited over a
penalised foul throw....

The problem with the first yellow for Konate, it was some about
35 seconds after the exact incident happened in the Arsenal half
which didn't even warrant a foul and Taylor's visible indication
was both players were holding.
Which some 35 seconds later with identical circumstances, Konate
got cautioned.
It was a disastrous performance, he's had a direct impact on the
result. There so many examples where holding wasn't punished in
anyway but yet a player has been sent off for holding. Also, for
the jokers amongst us - I pray to god I see you arrested for
putting your hands up as someone is running at you at speed.

What about your team’s performance? Did that not directly impact
the result, Liverpool didn’t turn up today, no matyer how you
want to put it.

Sorry, I thought this
a) was a forum for discussion on referees
b) a post about a referee.
But as you asked - yeah wasn't great, but wasn't helped when the
breaks consistently fell the other way.

Liverpool fan here. I would say that Taylor was excellent today
and contributed towards the game in a positive way. That is why
I think that the powers that be (namely Pierluigi Collina) rate
him above other referees in the PL.
The only issue I had was the Nunez foul, but that aside, no
complaints about any of the officials. Even Coote in VAR didn't
make a mistake!
