There was barely the length of a toe in that.

Top notch spot by Holmes , he’s had his critics he’s had a shaky
start to the season but that aside he is a superb AR

Comms equipment failure seems to be happening more frequently
this season
I think team ref have had a excellent game with 65 mins played
so far

Good decision to give the goal as Diaz just stood his ground and
the goalkeeper fell over.

Paul Tierney gets a bad press on here but I have to admit he has
had a solid game. Always in control and the cautions justified.
The two big decisions correct for me, the goal being offside by
the length of a foot, and then the Manchester City goal at the
end.
The keeper has to be stronger in that situation. There was
pushing and shoving before the ball came over and it was just a
poor piece of goalkeeping. The keeper was hoping the VAR would
chalk it off but fair play, the decision of goal was upheld and
rightly.
Paul Tierney isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but I think credit to
him tonight is certainly warranted.

As he has done most of the season and been penalised for it
routinely.
