Taylor has had nothing to do and then the penalty for the foul
on Fernandes looks very very very soft indeed.
I’m not convinced there is any contact at all.

Anthony Taylor’s latest addition to what is becoming a long list
this season of phantom penalties. Wouldn’t have been overruled
if there was VAR due to contact but come on I thought contact
had to have a consequence.

There’s definitely something on Fernandes’ foot however not

It's been a typical anthony taylor performance. I feel very
sorry for a plucky wigan .

I think he definitely touches his foot but equally there's
absolute no way that would make you fall over like Fernandes
did. Swaying towards it being the correct decision although
morally it's a pathetic act of theatrics by Fernandes.

A referee of his standing and experience, with a completely
clear view from 5 yards away, reaching that decision is utterly
beyond belief.

It’s not a penalty in a million years, another dubious penalty
that Taylor has given this season but could it be due to the
fact of how Fernandes plays and he conned him, although he did
have a very good view was very minimal contact but don’t need to
go down like you have been shot but again as people has stated
if VAR was in use it wouldn’t be overturned because there was
contact

I personally think it's a penalty. He slides in doesn't get the
ball and catches Fernandes. It reminds me of the penalty in the
Chelsea vs Man City game by Ruben Diaz.

I think it’s a pen too.clips his foot..Fernandez dosent need to
go down like that but it’s still a pen.easy game apart from that
for Taylor

The only world that’s a penalty kick is in Anthony Taylor’s
robotic application of the laws of association football and if
you happen to support Manchester United.everyone else knows
exactly what Fernandes did .
