Well the main talking point is the red card for Calvert-Lewin.
       Studs up yes.
Dangerous? He only brushed the defender.

Four officials thought Red.. they all can't be wrong or can
       they? Very very harsh

I think it's supported by being over the ball dangerous and imo
       out of control.

I tend to agree studs were up and yes he did make contact and it
was a brush but could it of been because Clyne stayed down that
perhaps made the refs decision but I do think it was harsh, but
i did know he was going to walk when the ref went to review

Never. No aggression behind it. The merest of contact.
When you see what *doesn’t* result in red cards it’s astonishing
that the VAR has intervened there.
Compare that to Udogie on Sterling where he went in two footed,
at speed, lunging and also made glancing contact. That was a
yellow and VAR said no to a red. On every level it was a much
       worse tackle.

This is the 2023/24 SG1 group, of course all four could be
       wrong.
You could argue it was a foul as it was careless but how anyone
would suggest that was dangerous, out of control or of excessive
       force is beyond me.

Wrong intervention by VAR for me. Ruined an up to then excellent
       performance from the ref.

How anyone can deem that excessive force is beyond me, DCL is
barely moving when he reaches the Palace player.
Point of contact does not always equal serious foul play.

It was such a bad foul no free kick was even given.
Kavanagh should have had the conviction to stand by his decision
       Another embarasing VAR intervention

Dreadful dreadful decision. Why is VAR getting involved there?
       Absolute shambles
