I assumed he was working his way back to fitness when I saw he
was refereeing National League games. Are we sure that's not the
case or has he realised that he won't make the required level
for EFL and is happy to just do what he can? Certainly, I've
seen or heard nothing from his performances which would have
made demotion likely.

Don't think Geoff Liddle has featured in any games this season.
Anyone know if he's injured?

Based on the list published by PGMOL at the start of the season
the following assistants have done 0 games this season as far as
I can find.
SG2
Geoffrey Liddle
National Group
Richard Bartlett
Michael Chard
Nicholas Cooper
Mike Desborough
Michael George
Peter Gooch
Gary Hilton
Martyn Holmes
Gareth Mellor
Anthony Moore
Matthew Parry
Chris Isherwood has only had 1 game and Paul Lister-Flynn only 2
games.
Some of the above have been mentioned as moving to coaching
roles but not seen any mention of others so maybe injured or
decided to retire.

I hope James Oldham's absence is due to an injury or his own
choice. I've seen him twice and I'd have thought him SG2
material rather than 2A.
