I thought Matt had a brilliant game today. Clamped down on time
wasting early on, and only used cards when required. Best
performance of the season in a Crewe game imo.

I think i’d summarise Richie Watkins’ performance as average and
inconsistent rather than poor, it felt like a lot of things went
Swindon’s way but taking off my blue and white glasses, they
didn’t have a huge baring on the game and weren’t horrendous
errors so I don’t come away too displeased with him. A better
second half but felt his awarding of fouls in the first half was
completely hit and miss, a lot of contact went unpunished and
minor bits were given. I’m really undecided on the penalty,
Miranda and Malife both pulling each other, Colchester player
probably pulls the Swindon player more so i’m not sure what to
make of it. I also thought added time was slightly on the low
       side in both halves.
Alan Young seemed to enjoy some words with the Cowley brothers
so think there’s some history there, telling them what they can
and can’t do but all in a good nature. They did both get booked
for running over to our fans to celebrate the late equaliser
which I think everyone will take gladly!

Radio Manchester saying he kicked the ball away, in between
telling us how hard done to he was and how wonderful Salford
       are!

Well that explains the manager..... and is that really a red
       card?
I'm still intrigued over the 2 players who got sent off within
20 seconds of each other... Soccer Saturday told me that but
failed to elaborate which was frustrating!

Delaying the restart for the opposing team from the technical
area is a red card offence so Robinson correctly dismissed
       despite his bemusement.
From the highlights, both reds were the result of a mass
confrontation. Both players cautioned for adopting an aggressive
attitude, just happened to be the second yellow for both
       players.

I was not aware of that rule so thanks.
Sounds like some good refereeing from Charles then all around.
