Their fans are amongst the least harsh in the league, must be
low on arrests etc, so makes sense to give them to a newbie.
Especially as they’re likely to be mid table and safe come May.

They've done 16 Championship matches between them. There's
plenty of competent referees who have done whole seasons and
more without getting a sniff of the Premier League. Tick, tick.
For the avoidance of doubt, I favour diversity and equality but
I also strongly favour fairness and level playing fields. As
level playing fields go, this has the Yeovil slope of old all
over it.
