One thing is guaranteed, Richie will be in the EFL soon. Perfect
‘trail’ performance from him today. Cracked down on time
wasting, punished players when required and overall just great!
Imo, he looks a younger version of Scott Oldham - same style
hair, tall and same running style. Crewe not great today - the
highlight for us was Jake Topp (AR2) going slip and slide when
changing direction.
Also, what’s the rule with refs wearing the same colour as
goalkeepers? That isn’t allowed I think? Well it happened today
as they both wore the y*llow shirt (sorry bmb)

Happens week in week out these days. I suggest a £250 fine
payable to me every time someone wears y****w. I’d be a
millionaire by this time next year!!

Why is there 4 stars before ‘down?’
All I said was cracked down on time wasting?

I would say a good enough debut from James Durkin yesterday.
He’s not the quickest mover but was never miles behind play. I
think his awarding of free kicks and yellow cards were all
correct and got the penalty decision correct too, good teamwork
with AR2 to rule offside and go back for the penalty. The only
small mistake was giving a clear Crawley throw to us in the
first half (he then gave Crawley a very soft free kick 30
seconds later, felt a little like making up for it).The one
decision I am confused by came from AR1 giving a free kick to
Crawley after it appeared Tovide was away and was bundled over
by Conroy. Nothing live or on iFollow has changed that but you
can’t see anything off the ball. It would have been an
interesting decision of yellow or red if given the other way.
However, it would appear that James missed the rule changes
seminar in the summer! Absolutely no interest in hurrying up
players, he did add a fair bit of time on in the second half but
never once came close to looking like he was going to stop play
and book someone. Just a couple of hurry ups in around the 96th
and 99th minute.

There was too much orange around midweek on the tv for my
liking!
Also I didn’t know AFCB had a yellow away kit! That would stop
the yellow referee kit!

Word I think you've used has links with drugs and is therefore
auto deleted by 'Big Al'. Same with ****-up which I've attempted
to use in the past to describe a referee making a major error
during a game..

New owner embracing the retro! Many moons ago, 20ish years, we
were sponsored by y****w buses, the local bus company, no-one
else would sponsor us given how dire things were. We had the
half dark blue, half y****w kit as our away kit, one of the best
sellers and one I never bought! I'm pretty sure it was the year
we went to Cardiff for the playoff final so a huge year for us.
Bill bought back the pizza puke kit (another I refused to buy!)
in the club shop and then this year's 3rd choice kit is a
replica of that away kit. The home kit is back to the
traditional stripes. I think he's trying to show he respects our
history. Awaiting the return of the green and black striped kit
next!
