Thought it was an exemplary performance from Kav, and hopefully
a sign of things to come with him getting more notable games in
the PL this season.

It's great to see Chris finally be recognised with the big
matches his performances have deserved, and even better to see
him perform well in the big matches - I was impressed yesterday.
Hopefully, he will stay injury-free, because I still think he's
got the potential to be up there with Taylor and Oliver.

He facilitated a game that was played in a decent spirit, I get
it's not easy but he'll certainly have harder games than this
one and there are referees who make easier games look hard. The
decision to disallow the second goal is the only moment of any
real note and although it was soft, it was a foul. After the
Newcastle v Arsenal one a few weeks back, would have been
interesting to see what VAR did had he missed it/given the goal.

It's a foul in the modern game, we can debate the law and
whether it should be changed but correct decision today

Excellent performance. 2nd best referee we have, in my opinion,
to Oliver.
