To all intents and purposes Barrott is SG1 in reality.
Salisbury for us again this season on the tele, and Kavanagh
with the big one.
Oliver in the EFL perhaps?
Congrats to Sunny Singh Gill as well getting a fourth official
appointment too

The new appointments secretary doing a much better job this year
with everyone getting a go, with of course the in form officials
getting the most games.

Except where ARs are appointed to the same teams on consecutive
games as has happened more than once this season so far. Nick
Hopton on AFCB game again having been on the last game. I don't
mind as I like him as an AR but he should not be put in that
position.

Every SG1 official who is available (assuming Michael Oliver and
Paul Tierney are unavailable) is appointed on Saturday bar Tim
Robinson. Any last minute pull outs from VAR officials might
mean a SG2 official has to do VAR duties

I'm a bit disappointed England still hasn't had a PL middle
since Spurs V Liverpool - I think not having him referee a PL
game for over 2 months seems a bit excessive.
The PL seem quite light on SG1 numbers currently, which I guess
explains for instance Bramall's appointment as FO. I don't think
Oliver or Tierney are involved this week? Still no games for
Bond and Harrington (we presume injured) and Coote still away
with FIFA.
How many on-field appointments has Massey-Ellis had recently? I
don't seem to remember her being an AR in PL for a while
although I might be wrong.
Good games for Kavanagh, Jones and Brooks amongst others.

Massey-Ellis is AR2 in the Championship on Saturday with James
Bell. She hasn't been AR in the PL since Fulham vs Newcastle on
the last day of the season in 2021.

Busy weekend for Manchester based Kavanagh. Ref for the high
profile Man City v Liverpool game then a trip to Stockley Park
to be VAR for the very high profile Everton v Man Utd following
their recent points punishment.

Three if you choose to count his appearance in the WSL last
Sunday.
