Thoughts on the penalty?
Looked outside the box to me, assistant looks like he has given
it

Never a penalty ( outside the box ), GK very lucky not to
receive a red card.

Contact is clearly outside the penalty area - keeper is stood on
the line, so when he kicked the attacker the point of contact
must have been outside the penalty area. The assistant has to be
seeing that. A red card should have also have been given
(DOGSO).
However, as they gave a penalty kick instead, the caution is
correct. Not sure it reached the threshold for SFP
