Saw this referee yesterday referee the match between Wycombe W
and Stevenage. Im not sure how he is on the football league list
probably one of the weakest and dangerous displays Ive ever seen
from a Referee and that includes Alan Young. Two very serious
injuries which added 30 mins of injury time to the game plus 10
mins while he decided if he was going to abandon the match.

I was astonished (not knowing that their were two nasty
injuries) that the BBC website was still showing the game as
active at 17.20 on a Saturday afternoon.

Just weak, allowed lots of naughty fouls didnt show any cards
until things started to get out of hand and against Stevenage u
need a strong referee

Watched on Ifollow Mr Speedie officiate TRFC v DRFC a few weeks
ago. He issued two very early YCs against us, one for Yarney
there was no issue with, the other for Jennings was a good ball
winning tackle but caught the opponent in the follow through, no
great force or studs up, thought free-kick would suffice. After
that start he eased off on the cards dispelling my initial
concern that he might be reaching for his RC on the basis of 2
yellows. Only seen him in action the once, he did ok but would
be surprised at any further progress in the short term.
