D Rumsas - FC Kobenhavn v Man Utd

Unless somebody can convince me otherwise, I'm really not sure
that was a handball for the penalty?
The other VAR interventions were also er interesting but I think
the red card was just about justified?

I'm fine with the red card decision but i'm not sure i agree
with the 2 handball penalties given especially the 2nd one as
there is no distance between both players

I'm not convinced either of those handball penalties would have
been given int he PL, especially the one awarded to United. But
       this is Europe.
Once Rumsas went to the screen, it was inevitably going to be a
RC for Rashford. As often happens, the still looked worse than
at full speed. My reaction was that the point of contact now
seems to be the decisive factor. I'm not convinced that was
excessive force; it wasn't the sort of challenge going in at
speed, out of control with 2 feet off the ground. Could it be
said to endanger an opponent simply because it was above the
       ankle?

Disgraceful challenge by Rashford and almost as bad was the way
he and some of his colleagues laughed at the referee when the
       red card was given.

Just seen highlights. Harsh red card especially when rashford is
controlling the ball, and of course looks worse slowed down and
stilled, never a red card reman into context. But probably
supportable for uefa. Both handballs are an absolute joke, and
shocking refereeing to give them by the referee and the VAR. Sky
sports reporting that var said check complete on the red card
but then runsas went over to the screen. Very bizarre and wrong
       if that is the case
Professional footballers will soon be running like robots with
their arms by their side and afraid to jump in case the hall
hits their hand and a penalty given!

       Red Card correct for me.
Neither are handballs, the problem VAR has is the first is given
on field and is hard to overturn. The second for the other team,
if its not called for OFR then they will complain about
consistency. For me, neither are pens, where are their arms
meant to be. Also, Varane had a hold of the defender for the Man
United penalty, could easily have been DFK. Worth remembering
that the VAR for this game was the world cup final VAR official,
       which makes it even worse.
Furthermore, how is Harry Maguire allowed to get in the refs
face so much without being booked, he does it in every game. Has
he forgotten he is no longer captain?

Just seen the incident involving Marcus Rashford for the first
time. Definite RC for me. Contact nowhere near the ball and
"studs first" causing the opponent's leg to bend significantly
at the ankle. Potential for a serious injury.

Given the two handball penalties given last might, perhaps
attacking players should stop trying to be creative and put the
ball in the net, and simply aim for the arms of a defender?

No mention (or even a VAR review) of the clear swinging arm into
Hojlund's face which was a secondary action and no part of
challenging for the header. Potential RC or at least a second
       YC.
With the Rashford RC yet again a referee with a clear view from
5 yards away doesn't even give a freekick let alone a YC. What
was he looking at given that was where the ball was and the play
was at walking pace? They have got to stop these VAR slow motion
replays in slow motion and show them at normal speed. Also the
first look on the OFR should be of the full incident not frozen
at a single point in time.
As for the players laughing at the decision perhaps they are
getting fed up not knowing what is going on.
