I know, but it was a valid addition to the thread.

Another miserable day of rain thunder and flooding in Sussex
       again.
I can’t see how we won’t get a game waterlogged off this weekend
in the EFL unless we have a miracle!

It won't be known this time either!
I can give a couple of older examples...
6/12/86 Rochdale v Wrexham (FA Cup) - John Key
       26/12/86 Rochdale v Tranmere (Div 4) - John Key
       28/12/98 Hartlepool v Rochdale (Div 3) - Roger Furnandiz
       2/1/99 Darlington v Rochdale (Div 3) - Roger Furnandiz
I think Furnandiz was a late replacement in the second game, but
I'll have to dig out the programme to check. He definitely
       refereed both games though.

I’m surprised Haines or Boyeson don’t have some kind of similar
record with visits to Spotland in past years!?

Mather has done his hammy and has been replaced late on.

Right, where to start. First half, Simon was inconsistent with
foul recognition, with a guessing game of whether it’s a foul or
not. Second half, much better….. until the 92nd minute. From a
Crewe set-piece, Notts County were on the counterattack when
Simon blows his whistle. He had pulled his hamstring, which
corresponded the chants of “you’re not fit to referee.” After 3
minutes, Richard Wigglesworth replaced him, and boy he didn’t
expect what was to come next. He, and Danny Gratton, both agreed
that it was a penalty for Crewe after a deliberate handball.
Danny came on the pitch and pointed to the Notts County fans,
who were shouting”cheat cheat cheat.” The away fans had threw
something at Danny, because he flagged for the penalty. The
penalty was scored, and it was a stoppage of 10 mins after, with
police trying to sort the away fans out. AR1 and Danny swapped
sides, with Crewe fans shouting “Lino Lino Lino” to Danny. Play
restarted, then after 30 seconds, Richard blew his whistle. When
Simon pulled up, Richard was probably thinking what he’s going
to have for his tea! That’s the second injury for Simon Mather
now. I bet Acme is gutted to not make it!!

Just seen the highlights and its disgusting behaviour from the
County fans at the end, irrespective of whether it was a penalty
       or not.
I’ve never known two assistants having to swap sides because of
the crowd however if they are hurling things towards them, it’s
       the right move.
I also hope the fan or fans who lobbed the articles at the
officials are banned for life from every ground.
       Absolute cretins.

To add, Simon was applauded off by Crewe fans when he was being
taken care of by the Crewe medical staff. That was nice to see.
