Back down to earth for Barrott and Smith, although probably not
for that long, judging by their recent positive performances and
the lesser performances (and injuries) of some of their more
experienced peers. Quite a bold choice to make Rebecca Welch 4th
official at the Cottage as very inexperienced at SG2 level
still, in the unlikely event John Brooks gets injured.

Don't wish to be pedantic Referee12, but your message would be a
lot easier to understand with more punctuation.

We’ve not had Stroud holding the boards for a few weeks at
Fulham but I’m sure that’ll change soon!
🙄😂😉

Bankes with Burnley, even though his last PL match involved
them.
Pawson, ATtwell and Jones on teams 3 times already (Attwell
Newcastle, Jones Wolves and Pawson Man City)
Not sure what Graham Scott has to do to get a game - his
treatment is disgraceful!

I suspect Graham Scott has few ambitions for his refereeing
career left. Speaking personally, when coming to the conclusion
of my full time active professional career, I was more than
happy to receive decent remuneration for low profile work, I
wasn't looking for high profile stuff to make my name. My name
was already made for good or ill. Perhaps Scott feels the same.
Clearly he is good enough to remain on SG1 but not regarded as
good enough to be awarded high pressure/profile matches.

Whistleblower has hit the nail on the head once again..
I guess it’s was a similar situation with Grandad Walton, and
the argument that officials could be pensioned off solely by age
was made defunct in legal terms.
Grandad never really received high profile matches, and
similarly Scott, who probably appreciates the odd game here and
there.

Scott is being paid to watch football while holding up a board
occasionally. And once a month being handed a whistle to run
around with. Quite an easy job. He isn't even trusted as a VAR

Nice work if you can get it ! Seriously, I don't think any form
of officiating at this level is "quite an easy job ". The
behaviour of some managers/coaches can make being 4th akin to
being a UN Peacekeeper

kavanagh on var
smith not involved which is a shame as he had a nice little run
of appointments which didn't seem so bad hopefully he gets back
in the middle next weekend
Coote on var training-poss opportunity for smith
no sign of Harrington again I don't think he will ever ref a
prem game at this rate
not surprised with Taylor in championship after the Newcastle
game England in champ as well alongside bobby madley who I don't
think will get another prem game alike Robinson who like smith
is getting a decent run of prem middles
Oliver might not be in euro action Tuesday/wednesday as he's
doing monday night opportunity for Taylor England jones kavanagh
brooks Attwell Gillett madley Pawson instead perhaps or to be
used for europa league/conference league instead
looks like I've upset highfieldlatic-i can't think why but if
somebody wants to be picky they then I suppose everyone else is
fine with my viewing post thanks for your support bmb
