I think attendance at a FIFA event and Women's Nations League
and Champions League games count as work, but I know what you
mean!

A lot of SG2 holding the boards up in this round of fixtures is
that because of availability of SG1 which also includes Rebbeca
Welch who I know is SG2 but has only reffed like 2 Championship
games this season

Interesting that Gillett gets a middle and a VAR gig this week
and Taylor steps down to the Championship. Would be good to hear
the audio of the Newcastle penalty as it seems Gillett hasn't
been held responsible.

Putting James Bell as fourth official at Plymouth and Sam
Allison at Preston is a bit weird.
I know they could be in those areas for other reasons, but it
seems a bit of a coincidence if so.

Not normally but can depend on the injury. They might not be
able to sit in one place/position for a long period for example
if it's a back injury

My word, I’ve thought for a few months now that Darren England
was being steadily groomed as successor to Taylor and Oliver but
how his star has come crashing down following the VAR debacle at
Spurs. Not sure if or how his status is going to fully recover
