I recall Mike was always interested in the gee-gees, and I think
it is a racing certainty that he will be at Palace v WHU this
Saturday, although whether Zaha will be in a position to be able
to applaud Mike's 100th red card is not yet known. ;D

I love the fact that the picture is of the Billericay blower
       D’Urso!!
       I can’t believe it’s only 54 reds for Kettle... that’s
surprisingly low considering his reputation !!

But add in the 52 reds for 2nd cautions (unless I have
misread/misunderstood). Average of around 4 yellows a game too

       Hackett's advice to Mr Dean.

That is where Hackett is so out of touch. Mike Dean has been
superb this season and not got a lot wrong. Yes he isn't afraid
to get the cards out but you rarely see the players complaining
       at this.
One thing I would say, had he been the referee in the Burnley
game on Saturday I very much doubt Mr Barnes would have remained
on the pitch after his outburst, that of course assuming that
Mike Dean got the penalty decision wrong.

I thought that it was a ridiculous article for various reasons.
Mike Dean may or may not retire at the end of the season but
he's certainly towards the end of his Premier League career -
he's not going to radically change his approach now.
If Hackett really wanted to advise Dean of this then perhaps he
should have done it 15 or so years ago when he was his boss.
Mike Dean has been one of the outstanding Premier League
referees and generally one of the best referees this season,
ably supported by his assistants. I would advise some of Dean's
colleagues to try and learn a thing or two from him.

Mike Dean is Certainly in contention for my end of season top 5
list so far. Mike Deans approach has got him where he is in the
game, telling him to change his approach is absolute nonsense in
       my opinion.

More unfathomable garbage from Hackett. It’s a tad rich from him
considering he effectively waged war when he binned Gale in the
       FA Cup unceremoniously.
It’s about time he did us all a favour and kept his ridiculous
       comments to himself.

Mike Dean is a better referee than Keith Hackett ever was
without the slightest shadow of doubt.
