Manchester Derby- Paul Tierney (VAR Michael Oliver)

Really, Clear and Obvious. That happens 20 times a game and
nothing is given. I am all for giving it every time but it
doesn't

A little surprised by the intervention, but it is in the end a
clear foul and I don't know what Neville is going on about.

Paul Tierney : Man Utd vs Man City

Imo that’s a poor intervention by Michael Oliver on VAR we see
that sort of thing every match without being penalised again
this where there is no consistency 99% of the time they go
unpunished
I am not saying it’s not a foul but we see it at least a dozen
times a game without VAR intervention , VAR is a mess and a
example of making it look like it’s working

Onana should also have been sent off. Having rightly cautioned
him for unsporting behaviour, the goalkeeper then sarcastically
applauded Tierney, which should have resulted in a second
yellow. I guess the guidelines about dissent don't apply in the
big games... ;)
(and his boss can hardly criticise him, even though he wouldn't
anyway, for not sending a player off for sarcastic applause in a
Manchester derby... :))

100% a penalty, good intervention from Oliver
Tierney has had a good game so far, hopefully had a good second
half

John Stones was very lucky that Hojland chose not to go down
when he was pushed in the back running through on goal. No
wonder players exaggerate contact and go down - they don't get
fouls when they stay on there feet!

I think it was. Clearly knocks him off balance when running
towards goal to have a shot.

Penalty soft at best, but nowhere near clear and obvious. That
is re refereeing the game which var is not supposed to be doing.
If that is a pen why was there nothing given on Holjund? Tierney
making an easy game look uncontrollable
