I had a hunch it was going to be Tierney at Old Trafford.
England and Cook in the Football League and a great chance for
Barrott to wear yellow at Bournemouth!
Attwell with the other Sunday tv offerings, and Hooper with the
West London derby.

Good set of appointments, very happy to see Robinson on an
arsenal game, safe pair of hands
Barrott seems promoted already just not officially, my thoughts
are that with the pairings of linesman is that he has taken
Darren England games however he wouldn’t have been given this
many if he didn’t deserve them. I’ve only seen highlights of his
games and he seems very promising and tbf the response on here
doesn’t seem anything but positive
Surely Harrington Bond and Gillett are all injured, as they
haven’t had a game in the league in ages
Feel sorry for Bramall a bit tho as he hasn’t really had a look
in
The only appointment I do question tho is how has Tierney got
the Manchester derby??
I would have any other referee do it, Brooks, Jones, Oliver or
Taylor have had good seasons so far so why not one of them, I
know Oliver had United last week but Taylor or even Jones, who
proved he could handle the feisty north London derby a few weeks
back

Unlikely that Gillett is injured as he was scheduled to do the
postponed Rotherham v Ipswich game last Friday.
Sometimes it pays to look outside the Premier League.

Jones had City last week.
Oliver did Arsenal vs City before the international break as was
poor. Taylor was poor in a city game not so long ago.

I actually thought Pawson would be in the middle rather than on
the touchline at Old Trafford before this weekend - possible he
would have been if not for some deserved criticism at Anfield.

has effectively been promoted to SG1 albeit not officially? Are
PGMOL regretting their decision to promote Bond who frankly
isn't up to it anyway from what I've seen, when Barrott and
Smith are much better prospects for the future IMHO?

The real answer as to whether Barrott has effectively been
promoted to SG1 is whether or not he is receiving SG1 rates of
remuneration.
Speaking of such matters financial, it doesn't appear as if Bond
is providing much return on investment yet. If he is injured
that is a great pity for him and unfortunate all round.
I have not looked up the stats but I get the impression that
Bramall is being eased into the top flight exceedingly
cautiously; the same could be said of Harrington.

Harrington is being hampered by injuries rather than a cautious
easing in - he's actually picked up a few decent games in the
relatively short time he's been on SG1.

Again. Unfortunate for both
