Sin Bin in Football- Idea

An idea being floated around, Alan Pardew has been calling for
it, is to introduce rugby style 10 minute sin bins in football
for second yellow cards.
With the rise in controversy around second yellow cards seen so
far this season, I think it could be a good idea.
One Yellow= Warning
Two Yellows= 10 Minute Sin Bin
Three Yellows= Red Card and one game ban
I think it would take pressure of referees and reduce the impact
of potentially wrong second yellow cards on the result (With VAR
being unable to intervene) . You may get a harsh second yellow,
but then if you get another yellow after a suspension well then
you only have yourself to blame

with your suggestion you'll be adding in yet another decision
maker between each level which will result in a huge lack of
consistency which i dont like. i would however advocate for sin
bins to include deliberate offences such as SPA (need something
to disincentivise blatant offences to stop attacks, intentional
fouls/shirt pulls etc.)

Sin bin for first yellow card which includes every deliberate
trip ot holding offence wherever it takes place on the pitch.
Will not happen of course but I would love to see it. Too many
fouls are cynical, avoidable, intententional to gain an
advantage and I for one get tired of it.

Nearly as many as those that aren't actually fouls but
simulation by a touched (often slightly) opponent.

Would the likes of Mr Pardew then turn to complaining about soft
third yellows?

Or players could just not get silly yellows for dissent. You’ll
still get inconsistency with your proposal, with even more
yellow cards on top.

Harry Kane and Kevin de Bruyne would be permanently sin-binned?
