Looked like a yellow tbf
Not Pawson's fault Young is stupid enough to make that tackle
when he's already on a yellow

Not sure I would say it was definitely wrong but second yellow
could have just been a talking to and a final warning.
As a more general point, he seems to be delaying lots of his
decisions today. It just makes him look like he’s lacking
confidence. The second yellow took a very long time to be shown.
Not sure which of his team he was communicating with but given
the relative positions it could only be Pawson’s decision!

I agree. He knew he was on a yellow but there was a chance to
get the ball and missed it and paid the price for it.

Very difficult to argue that it didn't stop a promising attack,
without the foul the attacker is into the penalty area. Stupid
challenge to make when already on a caution.

I've been really impressed by Pawson so far. He's made no
mistakes. Both YCs you can have no complaints about. Also so
what if he's dealing his decisions, at least he's getting them
spot on, unlike what some of his peers have done in weeks gone
by.

Pawson must be one of the most experienced SG1 referees (in
terms of length of service) now since Marriner retired
