With the appalling weather around I suspect some grounds may end
up like swimming pools by the weekend and consequently rained
off.
It’s hammering down in Sussex at the moment with no end in sight
looking at the forecast.

Agreed. Where I live in the Peak District, there is a lot of
surface water, and some villages are already flooded. There's a
couple of roads here that are flooded but nothing to the extent
being seen down the County

The easiest game that Paul Howard has probably had for a very
long time. No major decisions, one easy yellow. The first half
was played at walking pace - he’s probably got enough in the
tank for another 90!

I wasn’t at Crawley v Crewe, but some of my family attended and
they said that Sam had a great game and only got involved when
needed. Ben Garner sacked at Colchester, what’s next now? You
looked a decent team against us, what happened since?

The mind boggles. Good performances but have hardly been able to
translate that into results all season. I think it’s pulling the
trigger too early but only time will tell with the new
appointment!

Certainly a cracker of a game in prospect on Tuesday night for
Martin Woods, free-scoring 3rd place Crewe v free-scoring top of
the table Stockport County. Pity I can't be there. Now what's
the betting it will end 0-0?

Colchester might’ve shot themselves in the foot there but time
will tell. I don’t want to toot my own horn, but it’s either
gonna be a scrappy 1-0 or several goals! Hoping for the latter.

Doughty had a great game at Fratton Park on Saturday. Foul
detection was as consistent as it gets in L1 and he was hot on
'time management' tactics from the away side. Rafferty received
a caution for signalling a YC after a challenge on him. Would
expect more SG2 appointments for him moving forward!

I believe Scott Oldham has replaced Alan Young in our game up at
Grimsby tonight.
