Sunny Singh Gill - Peterborough v Lincoln

A very accomplished performance from Mr Gill.
Had an air of authority about him and really let the game flow
You ask for consistency and we had that in spades.
Great communication, explaining why he didn't blow up when we
where expecting it.
Great advantage for the first posh goal and great fitness.
Sometimes you see an official on top of their game and Mr Gill
was today.
Lots of the crowd mentioned how good he was.
If he continues like that he will certainly reach a very hig
level.. Well done

I've worked with Sunny when he was on Step 1. He was very casual
and it always made me laugh how when he cautioned, he would
verbalise yellow card to the player. I've seen other officials
do the same afterwards however. He has since progressed and his
style must work.

Jarnail Singh was one official who I didn’t get to watch live or
on any highlights, but clearly his son is heading in the right
direction!

Agreed. The only downside was the communication, or lack of,
between him and AR2 Alistair Nelson. They seemed to lose
confidence in one another to such a degree that I wondered
whether a decision was ever going to be forthcoming at times.

Interesting you should say that Ref Watcher.
I've noticed this year that there seems to be more assistants
waiting for the referees signal before making one themselves.
I don't know if that a conscious decision or the standard of
assistants

Alistair Nelson has just come back after two years off so may
have been a little rusty.
