VAR comes in and gets Jones hooked for a dangerous challenge…
Gary Neville suggesting it was accidental when the foot is over
the top of the ball and it slides.

Dear me, Darren England another controversial VAR decision.
That’s a dreadful call. He is foot only goes over because
Bissouma kicks it. How is that worse than the tackle by Kane on
       Robertson a few years ago.
There was no force. Looking on slo mo was always going to be a
       red.
       Hooper looks out of place

Red card good VAR untervention for me.
Over the top, caught him high with studs could have been a
       potential leg breaker.

It's a clear red card. Straight leg, over the ball, contact
high on the opponent's leg, it has to be SFP. Gary Neville's
comments that it should only be a yellow because "he didn't mean
to do him" are embarrassing, intent is totally irrelevant.

A red for me, well done VAR.
however it looks like Hooper has slipped back to old ways of
letting players delay the game by holding onto the ball, and
then waving a finger at them instead of carrying out
       instructions.

Not sure what the complaints are about for the red card.
I would like to see the offside lines for the disallowed goal -
looked nailed on to be one of those they spend ages reviewing
but I was surprised how quick the VAR check was.

I am puzzled by this, when I saw it on the reply I thought he
was well onside. Seemed to be looked at really quickly.

Not convinced. Jones didn't go off feet, in control of body, no
excessive force. Foot slides off top of ball and contact looks
bad and this can cause injury but I have difficulty accepting
Jones did much wrong. However, I think precedent says red but I
repeat, Jones was not out of control and excessive force was not
used. Nor was it reckless. Shame really, interesting game.

Hooper is doing well. I think the red had to be given as was
above the ball studs showing under LOTG.
Serious questions need to be asked of Darren England if the
lines haven't been drawn for Diazs goal that was chalked off!

The offside VAR decision has to be the biggest mistake since VAR
began. Absolutely atrocious to get that wrong, and is going to
completely undermine the public's confidence in VAR (whatever
       there is left).
