Thought Rob had a really good first half
       Thoughts on the Arsenal penalty?

I think it’s ridiculous, 3 ft away , natural arm position for
the defender, but it was consistent with rob jones inconsistent
handling of the match so far . There was no doubt in my mind he
was going to award the pk.
One of my favourite referees but I think he’s struggling with
       the atmosphere of the game.

Very good 1st half. The penalty I'm torn, yes his hand is
outside the body but surly it's a natural position for the
position Romero was in? Plus the distance the ball travelled was
relatively short? I would say no penalty based on what I said.
On another note once the penalty had been given shouldn't a RC
of been issued for blocking a goal bound shot?

Arm not in natural position and if it doesn’t hit him it’s a
goal so where’s the dogso being applied
Think Jones has had a good game for his first NLD, having a
       really good season

Arm in perfectly natural position you try falling back with your
arms tied to your side . Dreadful decision.

If Luton's penalty was correct, this was nailed on. Players have
to keep arms down. I don't like it but the culture has to
change. Sad thing is, and it is wrong, we no longer know what
handball is. Webb could help and simply say, if your hands are
up you are liable to sanction.
Jones OK for me. Fiesty game as to be expected. Hope it stays
       this way.

76 mins in and I think Jones has been excellent in my opinion
and hopefully he will get more big matches ok not sure I agree
about the inconsistent comment by a previous poster I think he’s
       been very consistent and fair

Just a difference of opinion, like I said I like him and was
thrilled when I saw he got this appointment because it was on
merit, it’s just when I’m watching neutral I like to see both
teams treated exactly the same and I don’t believe they have
been today , imo the boisterous crowd has on occasion affected
his judgment. He’s certainly not been bad he never is .

Once the Arsenal penalty has been given, how is it not a red
       card for DOGSO?

I think Rob Jones has done ok, no more no less. What I’d like to
pick up on charlieboy, is an interesting point you make, that
you feel the home crowd has got to him and affected his decision
making. I agree. Rob refereed Newcastle v Fulham last season,
and the same definitely happened in that game. I felt he melted
slightly to the vociferous Geordie crowd. I came on here to
mention it afterwards and got pelters from some who refuse to
believe it happens at this level. It’s probably a debate for a
different thread, but an interesting one nonetheless
