A great yellow card for me for James Trafford there. Told him to
play it and 20 seconds later pulls out the yellow because he
still hasn't taken it

Agreed and I just cannot see what the Burnley bench are
complaining about, get on with the game it doesn’t happen .

Strong refereeing from Jones already, great to see. 2 Burnley
players go to take the free kick and leave it to their keeper
Trafford eventually. He feints twice to take it, we’re now
beyond 30 seconds from award to kick. Yellow card is spot on.
Unlike Peter Bankes on Saturday, Jones laying the law down well
within rights early on. Had to be done.

What is the handball law nowadays anyone?
(Following VAR coming in and disallowing the Burnley goal on 75
mins).

Very harsh handball decision to rule out the Burnley goal.. I'm
not sure that's deliberate action to be honest

Looked like he controlled it with his arm , I thought it was a
fair intervention myself and rob jones didn’t need long to
review . Good use of var imo

Don’t understand why no OFR for the Forest goal , nor why after
the sending off play did not restart with a penalty for the
holding that brought about the situation. But there again there
is a lot about the modern game I don’t understand,or like.

Its a clear handball, he moved his arm towards the ball and
without doing that there would be no way he would get possession
of it. That is what VAR is for, there was no way the referee
could see that. Likewise the red card, very difficult for the
officials to see that, but it is very clear violent conduct.
