Oh dear… not a second yellow for Tomiyasu after the officials
thought it was a shirt pull when it clearly looks like it
       wasn’t.

I can see why he gave a second yellow card, but it didn’t look
like a shirt pull and he gestured it was for a shirt pull.
That’s not a great look. I think the safest option would just be
to say he tripped up the Crystal Palace player?

A pretty poor decision from Coote who presumably took advice
from 4th? if not, he should have been given its right in front
of the benches. All that said, if the guy hadn’t wasted time and
got a cheap yellow card a few minutes before it would’ve been no
       issue.

Definitely not a shirt pull or a trip and not a yellow. Minutes
after a very clear shirt pull preventing an attack did not
       warrant a yellow!!!!!

Partey and Odegaard waving at Coote for a card for the challenge
on Eze, where they claim he dived.
It actually looked like a pen but VAR said no.
The PGMOL have been talking tough about carding players who
berate the officials by waving imaginary cards, yet both Arsenal
       players weren’t sanctioned.
       No consistency.

Looks really poor, particularly given he allowed Ayew away with
an almost identical foul without a second booking only a few
       minutes before.

I'm sorry but just because a player picked up a deserved yellow
card earlier in the game cannot be used to essentially
justify/give the referee a free pass for a making a really poor
decision to send him off. Each incident should be judged on
       their own merits.

Really poor second yellow. Extremely poor that Partey was not
cautioned for the most blatant imaginary card waving. Needs to
improve quickly for the end of this game or it could easily get
       out of his control!

It’s not an excuse, it’s a rank bad decision from Coote and team
which shouldn’t have happened. I was referring to Tomiyasu who
might reflect that cheap and wholly unnecessary yellow cards
always put you at risk from a howler from an official. It
shouldn’t happen, but occasionally like tonight it does.
