Pleased for the win but can our other Sunderland supporting
friends comment on Gavin Ward's performance today?
......or is it just me who thought his overall performance
wasn't great.

I would agree not great, inconsistent foul and card detection.

Thank you.
I thought it was just me seeing matters through red and white
eyes.

In my book he has never been good enough. Perhaps his employers
think differently?

I might be as well but one than springs to mind counter attack
and just barged straight through the back of the player clear
yellow and it wasn’t given

Rotherham player went down injured and couldn't continue so
left the field by the furthest point walking across the total
width of the pitch.
Patrick Roberts of Sunderland suffers a hamstring injury in more
or less the same area and is ordered to leave the pitch by the
nearest touchline.
Rotherham have a valid argument regarding only five minutes of
injury time at the end.One goal, six substitutions and a two
minute injury to Paddy Roberts saw me think it would be at least
seven.

Gavin Ward maintained his usual standard of refereeing. Need I
say more.

Need you say more? If you want your comment to be meaningful,
of course you need to amplify your remarks. I don't know what
his usual standard is - or what you think his usual standard is!

I think Akwoo that this forum has disected and digested Ward's
performances for a number of years and felt he is not a good SG2
referee. Apologies for the slight "in" reference but to me the
comment is simply that Ward's maintained his usual fayre
