Just watched it, came on here and very happy to see that he has
       apologised.

regarded as one of the most popular managers in this part of the
country, and I know from the BBC NW News that he was really
looking forward to this tie and the chance to get through to the
5th round. It is a great pity imo if he has allowed his emotions
to get the better of him. That is all I can say about Mr
Coleman. Now regarding the recently departed manager of
       Peterborough and his replacement.....  ::)

You might have a different opinion if Coleman and his horrible
sidekick had managed your club in the dreadful way they did with
       mine.

Anyones opinion on another individuals character/personality as
a human being, has no relevance to their judgement of that
persons abilities as a professional football manager

In fairness to TVOS I think he has mellowed a lot over the
years. The outburst on Saturday was a throwback to his previous
ways. I've been amazed at the difference in his two spells at
Accrington and his post match interviews are usually a good
listen as he is usually prepared to praise the opposition and
does not criticise referees which used to be far from the case.
I'm pleased he has issued the apology but do wonder if the
       Chairman was behind it.

I couldn't agree less. How a person in a prominent position
conducts himself is, for me, part and parcel of the job.
That is why Bobby Robson was a great manager and, for example,
       Jose Mourinho was not.
Being a human being and a professional football manager are
       inextricably linked, not mutually exclusive.

It does when that personality and behaviour impacts on the club
       as a whole.

My understanding of what doowe had written was that our opinions
(or more bluntly bias) of someone's character influenced how we
interpreted their actions. So if I happened to think that
Mourinho was an absolutely great guy I would interpret his
actions more favourably than I actually do.
