I suggest that we need to be wary of English / British
exceptionalism, the two Italian sides in these finals deserve
their share of the credit, whereas the behaviour of the Italian
side in the other final left much to be desired. Given the multi
national composition of all squads at these exalted levels I
suspect that managerial influence is as significant if not more
significant than the nationality of clubs.

Inter Milan players where rolling round yesterday, Marciniak
just told them to get up.

Perhaps I should have said Premiership teams rather than
English.
The teams that play in Serie A are very good at being chameleons
as they will change according to their surroundings
Whilst I agree that the managers are reflected in their teams in
part, I am not sure either of last night's bosses come across as
calm and composed!
