Best wishes to the Polish team this evening, although he gets a
yellow card for having orange on!

Is it not red?
Mr Marciniak looked proper in the zone walking the teams out

I would imagine Mr Taylor is rueing the fact he cannot do
English teams in Europe as games are definitely different/easier
when one of the teams is English.
The officials have involved themselves only when they have had
to, which is good

That wasn't vintage Marciniak, but he still got through with no
major issues or controversies. Also, orange or red? 🤣

He involved himself as he needed to and no one will be talking
about him
Definitely red kit

Thought he was superb. Stuck to his line of rightly waving away
soft appeals for fouls against both teams and the game
benefitted. Jumped on any sniff of dissent, but, as said above,
so much easier to refer when teams pretty much get on with it.
Probably could have let go the two YCs to harland and the GK.
Not much in it really in context of game and he had full
control. Also let the subsequent free kick be taken 15 yards
outside area (Gk couldn’t have been fouled there ….. and
could’ve led to an equaliser).
4th seemed to just ignore both managers continuously outside
technical area!
All in all, excellent team effort from the officials

Stayed in the background, let the players get on with it, so
much better to have two sides like these two in a final.
Hardly noticed them.
That is probably the best comment you can ever make of a
refereeing team.

The lack of comments here indicate what a master at his job he
is.

As stated above: 2 out of 3 European finals involved English
sides. Throwing of objects aside, both these games were easier
to referee, teams concentrating (mainly) on playing football,
results not determined by histrionics or subjecting the referees
to undue pressure/hatred.
Referees definitely enjoy officiating English/British teams
