Paint Trophy in a previous incarnation ?

Since the formation of SG2 it has been out of the officials on
the National List who have been appointed to this final. Charles
Breakspear (along with Stockbridge and Toner) has already had
the final. I was thinking of Scott Oldham but Blackpool's
progress will have a big say in that.

I must admit I hadn't thought of Scott but a worthy appointment
in my view. I wish Scott and his team all the best and hope they

Well done to Scott and team, quietly conducted their work in a
pretty dull affair in most parts but kept a lid on things with
the late drama. The only couple of notes i’d have is a missed
handball that nearly led to a goal for Ricky-Jade Jones and I
thought an extra 4 minutes of the 5 shown in the second half was
very excessive but came to nothing anyway. Hopefully all
officials can go home happy with their work and proud of their
achievement.
