I hope he stays strong. 25 mins in and the theatrical face
clutching by Fiorentina is embarrassing. I have counted at least
4 attempts to deceive the ref already.
Edited to add WHU fans disgracing themselves now. Don’t
understand the logic there at all.

Some random foul detection like a clear missed foul and YC on
Antonio. Good YC for a dive.
Disgraceful scenes by West Ham supporters. Game haunted while
injured player was treated. Del Cerro Grande speaking to UEFA
delegate and a message played over stadium announcement.

A bit surprised that the players weren’t taken off after that
incident. Vile stuff and a shame on the English game.

If it happens again he will take them off. They are told to
move them to safe area the first time it happens. Fair play to
Rice and the West Ham players, their appeals seem to have sorted
it, won't prevent West Ham being in serious trouble after the
game though.

Generally ok but not 100% convincing line - seemed to give a few
very soft / non fouls to Fiorentina but then ignore a few West
Ham free kicks on the run. Happy to see refs keep game going t
seemed quite inconsistent in first 20 mins.
Strong body language and great YC for diving.
Let’s hope there is no more stupid behaviour from fans - what
they’re thinking is beyond me. Just enjoy the final!

Solid but unconvincing performance so far. Not in full control
but he has enough control.
Tough handball decision, probably just correct for me but think
there is maybe enough for no OFR?

Trial by slow motion there wasn’t it? In normal speed I don’t
think it’s a penalty.
