For what it is worth, the German football publication Kicker
awarded Mr Taylor a mark of one - its best possible mark - which
was better than any of the players. It even made that a headline
to its ratings section. Sadly managers did not get marked!

I give Rosetti the benefit of the doubt in the car park, hoping
he anticipated the issue and was cleverly distracting Morinho,
leading him away from the bus??
Anyone can make appointments - I could do it for Uefa from my
sofa - but he needs to now be seen to stand up for his referees
or all this talk of ‘respect’ is just the usual bluster and
means nothing.

There was a nice bit of solidarity from David Moyes in his press
conference this morning. It’s what we need to see and hopefully
the good eggs are contacting Anthony Taylor.

One thing that surprised me was Taylor only being with his
family. I would have thought the whole team would fly home
together?

That's awful, I know he has spoken on interviews before about
having two (teenage?) daughters, if that's one of them she looks
visibly shaken and upset, his wife looks pretty shaken up too, I
presume the blonde lady is his wife.
Anthony does really well not to thump that guy who grabbed his
bag mind

In the man in the middle documentary one was doing GCSE's & the
other A'Levels around lockdown time because they showed him
helping them to study at home. His eldest would therefore have
been the same school year as bmb jr so depending on when her
birthday is she'd be 20 or 21 now and the younger one 18 or 19.
Absolutely vile they were put through this. He did well to stay
calm but his focus was clearly on getting his family to safety.

Pleased to read this afternoon that UEFA have charged Jose
Mourinho and both clubs with misconduct.

Pleased he has been charged but I'll reserve judgement until the
outcome. I'm still bitter over the PSG president being charged
previously and being let off...

Yeah and tbf, if Mourinho’s behavior is punished, we could still
argue why (on the earth) the PSG president wasn’t
charged…🤨 I don’t see a difference
