I cannot fathom what Harrington has seen to not recommend an on
field review for the red card and the penalty.
I can see why Robinson went red as it appeared dangerous however
reckless is clearly what it was.
A very poor day at Shockley Park for Harrington. Barnsley have
       every right to feel aggrieved.

And Robinson is most likely being promoted to SG1 next season.
Interesting that the mortally injured player was running around
like a spring chicken shortly afterwards which begs the
inevitable question as to whether the contact/pain was
exaggerated to get a fellow professional sent off. Maybe a
period of 5 mins “rest” before coming back on would help to stop
or reduce any suggestion of play acting

The fouled player was on his feet pretty much before the card
came out…….. and the consequence does not make the card, the
TACKLE does. Look at the tackle against the SFP markers. It’s a
       red card.
As for no intervention from VAR how can it be clear and obvious
if people on here can’t even agree on it.

I thought red as soon as I saw it. I understand some of the
arguments against it but it was the right call for me.

What was clear and obvious though was the clear and obvious
foulbfor the not given penalty kick to Barnsley. No excuse for
that . I accept your point re the red card as it seems 50/50
opinion which is not clear and obvious.

I have no defence of the pen for VAR. That should have 100% been
an on field review and I’m sure it’s given if a review takes
       place.

Looked like a red in real time, particularly from the angle Tim
Robinson had. Pretty obvious from the lack of agreement in the
15 post so far in this thread that it wasn’t a clear and obvious
error so VAR correct not to intervene.
       The penalty is another story!
Barnsley can feel hard done by as on another day they get a
penalty and the tackle is a yellow card.

I think that was definitely a penalty, why Harrington isn’t
getting involved is a tad surprising
The red card is supportable, player two footed lunge, off the
floor, so for me ticks the box for a red card

I was watching at the ground and I immediately said red card.
Having watched it back I am less sure, but don't think it can be
       called wrong.

Red I think can be justified either way so not a clear and
       obvious error
The penalty appeal is just var showing as it is currently is not
fit for purpose, there’s no need for it in the playoffs unless
someone’s toenail is slightly passed the last defender it won’t
change the decision no matter how clear it is, would love to
hear the audio for this one to work out why they don’t think
       it’s a penalty
